Traveleon is an AI-powered travel planning platform operated by SCARABYTE DIGITAL S.R.L., a company registered in Romania.

Traveleon helps travelers discover destinations, search and book hotel accommodations, find activities and attractions, and build personalized trip itineraries — all powered by artificial intelligence.

By accessing or using Traveleon (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make bookings. Users under 18 may browse the Platform under parental or guardian supervision.

Traveleon provides the following services:

• AI Travel Assistant — An AI-powered chat interface that helps you plan trips, discover destinations, and get personalized recommendations.
• Hotel Search & Booking — Access to millions of hotel accommodations worldwide. Bookings are facilitated through our accommodation partners.
• Activities & Tours — Discovery and booking of tours, excursions, and experiences through our activity partners.
• Attractions & Restaurants — Free discovery of points of interest, attractions, and dining options at your destination.
• Itinerary Builder — Tools to organize your trip into day-by-day plans with maps, calendar views, and collaboration features.

You can browse hotels, search for activities, and explore destinations without an account. To use the AI chat planner, save itineraries, and make bookings, you must create a free account.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

Traveleon acts as an intermediary for hotel bookings. We facilitate the connection between you and accommodation providers through our technology partners. We are not the hotel operator, property owner, or direct service provider.

When you make a hotel booking through Traveleon:

• Your contractual relationship for the accommodation is with the hotel property and/or the booking provider, not with Scarabyte Digital S.R.L.
• Hotel availability, pricing, room descriptions, photos, amenities, and star ratings are provided by third-party suppliers and are displayed as-is. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee it.
• Prices shown include taxes and fees where applicable but may vary based on your residency country, currency, and the specific rate conditions.
• Cancellation policies are set by the individual hotel or booking provider and are displayed before you confirm a booking. Always review the cancellation terms carefully.

Activities, tours, and experiences available on Traveleon are provided by third-party operators through our activity partners. Traveleon acts as an affiliate and facilitator.

• The activity operator is solely responsible for providing the booked experience, including safety, quality, and adherence to local regulations.
• Activity availability, pricing, descriptions, and cancellation policies are set by the operator and/or our activity partner.
• Any disputes related to activity quality, cancellation, or refunds should be directed to the activity operator or booking partner.

Traveleon's AI travel assistant uses artificial intelligence to provide travel recommendations, destination suggestions, and planning assistance.

• AI-generated recommendations are suggestions based on available data and should not be treated as professional travel advice.
• While we strive for accuracy, the AI may occasionally provide incorrect, outdated, or incomplete information. Always verify important details (visa requirements, health advisories, local regulations) through official sources.
• The AI does not guarantee the availability, quality, or suitability of any recommended hotel, activity, or destination.
• Conversations with the AI may be analyzed in aggregate to improve the service. Personal data handling is described in our Privacy Policy.

Traveleon is free to use. There are no subscription fees for searching, planning, or using the AI assistant.

• Payments for hotel bookings and activities are processed by the respective booking providers, not by Scarabyte Digital S.R.L.
• Traveleon earns commissions from booking partners when you complete a reservation. This does not affect the price you pay.
• Displayed prices are indicative and may change between the time of search and the time of booking confirmation.
• Currency conversions are approximate. The final charge may differ slightly due to exchange rate fluctuations and your payment provider's conversion rates.

Cancellation and refund policies are determined by the individual hotel or activity provider, not by Traveleon.

• Free cancellation bookings can be cancelled at no charge before the deadline specified in the booking confirmation.
• Non-refundable bookings cannot be cancelled or refunded. This is clearly indicated before you confirm the booking.
• To request a cancellation or refund, contact us at [email protected] and we will coordinate with the booking provider on your behalf.
• Refund processing times depend on the booking provider and your payment method. Traveleon is not responsible for delays in refund processing by third parties.

When using Traveleon, you agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform, other user accounts, or our systems.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or extract data from the Platform without our written permission.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent booking information.
• Interfere with the Platform's operation or other users' experience.
• Abuse the AI assistant by attempting to extract harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content.

All content on Traveleon — including the platform design, AI models, software, logos, mascot illustrations, and text — is the property of Scarabyte Digital S.R.L. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Hotel images, descriptions, and activity content are provided by third-party suppliers and remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our prior written consent.

Your privacy is important to us. We collect and process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We collect the following types of data:

• Account data — name, email address, and authentication credentials when you register.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, and interactions with the AI assistant.
• Preference data — your preferred currency, language, residency country, and travel preferences.
• Location data — approximate location from Cloudflare headers for relevant search results. We do not track precise GPS location.
• Booking data — reservation details when you make a booking through the Platform.

We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared with third-party services only as necessary to provide the Platform (authentication, analytics, booking providers).

Traveleon uses cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality, analytics, and marketing. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through the cookie settings accessible from the cookie banner or by clicking the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer.

We use three categories of cookies:

• Essential cookies — required for authentication, preferences, and core functionality. Cannot be disabled.
• Analytics cookies — help us understand usage patterns (Google Analytics, PostHog). Enabled by default, can be opted out.
• Marketing cookies — used for advertising measurement (Meta Pixel). Enabled by default, can be opted out.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information displayed on the Platform, including hotel descriptions, pricing, availability, and AI recommendations.
• We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of accommodations, activities, or services provided by third-party suppliers.
• Travel involves inherent risks. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate travel insurance, checking visa and health requirements, and taking necessary precautions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Scarabyte Digital S.R.L. shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
• Losses resulting from hotel or activity bookings, including but not limited to overbookings, cancellations by the provider, property condition issues, or service quality.
• Actions taken based on AI-generated recommendations.
• Third-party service disruptions, payment processing issues, or data breaches caused by our partners.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Scarabyte Digital S.R.L. in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. As the Platform is free to use, this amount may be zero.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bucharest, Romania.

For consumers within the European Union, this does not affect your statutory rights under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence. You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
